Executive and graduate teaching experience in 13 countries, invited or adjunct Professor at four business schools in France, Latin America, Spain and USA, various prizes as best professor. Previous academic positions: Bordeaux Business School, France and IESA, Venezuela.

Author of three books and over 50 other publications, reviewer for five international journals, member of the Editorial Committee of Supply Chain Forum. Current research: Logistics in Spain (PROFIT project), MRO logistics, ERP implementation strategies, SME processes.
Academic administrative experience as Director of Ph.D. Program and of Masters related to technology, IE; and as Member of Academic Council, Chair of Production Studies and Head of the Center of Production and Technology, IESA.

Extensive practical experience in Operations, Logistics and Information Technology Management as consultant in Industrial Logistics, support manager for a Metro system, and maintenance manager for a water supply system.

Ph.D. in Business Administration as Fulbright scholar (University of Maryland: outstanding doctoral student, outstanding doctoral graduate, member of honor societies Omega Rho, Phi Kappa Phi and Beta Gamma Sigma); M.Sc. in Management Science as Mariscal de Ayacucho scholar (Cranfield University, U.K.); B.Sc. in Engineering (Simón Bolívar University, Caracas).

Born in Cuba, Spanish and Venezuelan nationalities, fluent in Spanish, English, proficient in French.
